About Simply Serene Systems and Jeanne Andrus

A calmer way to build and maintain the systems behind your business.

Why this work exists

I started Simply Serene Systems because I kept seeing capable, thoughtful business owners brought to the edge by tools that were supposed to make things easier.

People were told a platform could handle their funnels, websites, email, automations, and client management. And then, they were handed a level of complexity they were never prepared for.

I’ve watched smart, committed entrepreneurs freeze because they were terrified of doing something wrong.

I’ve seen people take five times longer than necessary to complete simple tasks — not because they weren’t capable, but because the systems felt unsafe to touch.

I’ve sat with clients at the end of the day while they cried, convinced they were the problem.

They weren’t.

You deserve systems that feel steady, not scary.

What I bring to the work

I’ve been building websites and online systems long before most people had templates or drag-and-drop builders.

I built my first sites by hand (in Notepad), before content management systems were common and customer relations software was only for the "big companies" with their IT departments. It was even before many major companies had websites.

I worked with WordPress when it still required understanding how things fit together under the hood.

I integrated early versions of email platforms like Mailchimp, back when there was little automation and almost no tagging.

I connected payment systems like PayPal when you had to think through every step yourself.

In 2020, I began working with GoHighLevel. I bought in through a white-label platform and it had 3 major functions - funnels (no websites), contact lists, and email automation. Over the years, I’ve watched it grow into an incredibly powerful, all-in-one system.

And I’ve also watched that growth make things harder for the very people it’s meant to serve.

I see the value in the complexity.

I also understand how overwhelming it can feel when you’re the one expected to build and maintain it.

This is not about perfection. It’s about presence and ease.

How I work with clients

When you work with me, you’re not handed off to a team or expected to decipher things on your own. There's no off-shore team working behind the scenes.

You work directly with me, building, refining, and maintaining the systems that support your online presence.

That means:

- We move at a pace that feels manageable

- You understand what’s being built and why

- Your systems are designed to support your work, not force you into a generic structure

I’m not approaching this as a software developer building for retail, tech startups, or massive teams.

I’m approaching it as someone who has been a coach for over fifteen years. Someone who understands what it means to build a website and systems that support real client relationships, real conversations, and real transformation.

Because eventually, you're going to want your website to grow, to change. And I want it to be easy for you to do that!

Your systems don’t need to be impressive. They need to be steady.

What you get out of this

The people I work with aren’t looking to become experts in their tech.

They want:

- Systems they aren’t afraid to touch

- Clarity about what actually matters

- Fewer moving parts

- Confidence that things are set up correctly

- The ability to focus on their zone of genius without constant friction

And when you're ready to do more on your own, I'm here to coach you in how to do that.

My role is to translate complexity into something you can live with. And trust.

Simply Serene Systems exists to make sure your business infrastructure doesn’t drain the very energy your work requires.

You don’t need to push through fear to build something solid.
You need structure that holds.
